LNER (ex-NER) Y7 BR Black early livery
These locomotives were introduced in 1888, twenty four being built including five in 1923. They were intended as dock shunters and were very successful in this role due to their small wheelbase, light weight and simple design. Most were withdrawn in the 1930s but nine were sold by the LNER for industrial use and two have survived to be preserved.

The model depicts one of the two that survived until 1952 and which was fitted with vacuum brakes for working passenger trains on the Seahouses branch.

This model is for TC3/TS2009/TS2010 only, includes all dependancies needed (no need for the DLS!) and is of course fully 'native mode' compatible in TS2009/TS2010.
